WHO
WE ARE

Mā Te Huruhuru Charitable Trust is a South Auckland-based organisation. Since 8 December 2020 we have been dedicated to empowering taitamariki through culturally grounded, innovative programmes that further develop skills, resilience, and community connection.

We use a "by Māori, for Māori" model, co-designing our programmes with taitamariki to ensure they are relevant and impactful. Our strong whānau culture and innovative methods make us a unique and effective force for positive change.

Join us in our mission to support the future leaders of our community. Together, we can help our young people soar.

OUR
MISSION

"MĀ TE HURUHURU KA RERE TE MANU"

As a guiding whakatauki our mission is to propel taitamariki. This analogy stresses our commitment to their holistic growth. Each feather epitomises the interplay of cultural, social, spiritual, and educational aptitudes. Our efforts are dedicated to further developing their capabilities, so they can fly in to the world and be contributing members of their whānau, hapū, and iwi.
